Valet Program
Morning Drop Off / Valet Program
The Valet Program is designed to provide a safe drop-off system for McKinley students. Cones are used on South Oak Knoll in front of the school to create a dedicated drop-off lane. Drivers pull forward until they reach a safety “Cone Zone” before stopping their vehicles. Student and parent Valets then approach the car, open the door and help students out of the vehicles. The system is designed to promote a continuous flow of traffic. Drivers may not use the drop-off lane if they need to get out of the car for any reason. The Do’s and Don’ts of Drop-offThe McKinley Valet Program was designed to create a safe and orderly environment in front of the McKinley School for dropping-off your child. In order for this program to be successful, it requires that everyone who participates plays by the rules and does their part. Please follow all instructions given by those working in the Valet program and remember that the drop-off lane is for express drop-off only. Please take time to fully review The Do’s and Don’ts of Drop Off, which can be downloaded by clicking on the link below: The Do’s and Don’t of Drop Off Valet Program Forms Student Valet Application Valet Program Duty - Room Parent Form For Further Information contact: Loren Roberts at mckinleyvalet@yahoo.com Don’t Forget -- Thursday is Recycling Drop-Off DayYou can also turn in your bags of ALUMINUM CANS and CRV CLEAR PLASTIC BEVERAGE BOTTLES when dropping your child off EVERY THURSDAY morning.
